thursday 6th
december 2012. a day to remember - even
if it doesn't change the world.
richard turned up in
matching socks. weird! the same day i'd chosen matching socks. but weirder still: his socks were a quality
pair of walking socks. and so were mine!
i'm not
superstitious. but i do believe in
omens. i believe God communicates with
us all the time, and i believe that valuable meaning is to be found in most
things by those who seek it with curiosity and humility.
it was the day we
came together with our trusted friends to ask the question, "should we try
to make our wild new web idea a reality, or not?"
i like to think that
our sock combination was some kind of living-room prophecy, whispering about a
time of readiness for a new road, and a move from established daily habits to
something new and unusual.
of course, whilst it was a rare occurrence, it's a
perfectly valid perspective to suggest that we each chose those socks because
it was a cold day, and we wanted something special for a special event.
either way, what I do know for sure is that togetherness is never insignificant!
and either way, that evening was the beginning of some exciting next thing!
